All along the river there is debris caught up in the trees and bushes and in the river itself.  Some has already been cleared but a lot remains.  The focus of attention is the stretch of the River Calder upstream of Falling Royd, it includes the area around the railway station and Calder Holmes Park.

We’re joined for the day by teams from Lloyds and Halifax Banks and are meeting at 10.00am at Hebden Railway Station. You don’t need anything other than old clothes, wellies and a packed-lunch.
