Spend a morning assisting the Halifax Sub-Aqua Club who will be entering the River Calder at Elland Riverside Park to retrieve rubbish brought down by the Boxing Day floods. There will also be local volunteers hand-pulling the invasive Himalayan balsam in the Park. The Sub-Aqua Club will need help to drag the rubbish out of the water.

The Riverside Park, near Elland Bridge, is one of the few places within Calderdale where we can enjoy the riverside frontage – let’s keep it clean and attractive. The activity will begin at 10am.
