Meet at 10:30am for a half-day cleaning up the river and tackling Himalayan balsam. The meeting point is by the Masonic Lodge, cnr of Stoodley Glen and Halifax Road, Eastwood – look for the skip! Wear old clothes for this activity – if the water is not too high, there will be a chance to don waders and get into the river to clear the rubbish.
