Join Yorkshire Wildlife Trust staff on our first volunteering day at Copley Valley Green Corridor, made up of two natural flood management sites along the river next to Milner Royd Nature Reserve. We will be removing the Himalayan balsam from the site, an invasive species which overcrowds native British wildflowers.
Meet at 10am by the boulders at the side of the bridge, before Hollas Lane becomes Copley Valley Road.
