Calder Future and Calderdale Countryside Service are organising an environmental day at Beechwood Park Local Nature Reserve on Tuesday 2nd December, meeting at 10am at the end of the drive off Keighley Rd. leading up to ‘The Grange’ (look for the sign ‘Treveleyn’ on the gate-post) – so, in the middle part of the Park. We will plant a hedge with some trees that have been supplied by The Woodland Trust, and carry out woodland management in the Tar Hill plantation.
