SUMMARY:Open churchyard - Lightcliffe churchyard
DESCRIPTION:Come along to meet members of the Friends of St Mathews Churchyard\, all local volunteers and Calderdale Countryside and Woodlands Service as part of Open Churchyard Week.  You will get to hear what has been done and the future plans for the churchyard both for the local community and for wildlife. A chance to explore the churchyard with a marked trail and do some minibeast hunting\, there is something for everyone.  Session runs from 14.00 - 16.00.  Meet at the foot of the Tower\, Lightcliffe Churchyard (opposite the Sun Inn).  No dogs.

SUMMARY:Todmorden Riverside Improvement Group
DESCRIPTION:Tipside is located behind the Todmorden indoor market hall and bus station. TRIG usually hold tasks on the first Monday of each month\, and the work involves litter-picking\, river clean-ups\, planting wildflowers and grass cutting\, amongst other things.\n\nAll events start at 10.30. This particular activity is the 'River Day'\, being held on a Saturday to attract as many local people as possible - an opportunity to improve the  'Tipside' area for the whole town.  For further information contact Penny Bennett on 01706 812480.
