DESCRIPTION:The early phases of the Industrial Revolution happened here.  Visiting the sites and hearing the stories of the early water-powered textile mills - some of which converted to steam later.  Meet Justine Wyatt from Calderdale Heritage Walks at 14.15 by Hebden Bridge Parish Church (just off the main road approx. 0.4 miles west of Hebden Bridge centre). Stout footwear needed.  Cost £3 (all ages).  There's no need to book\, just turn up and pay on the day.  Easy/moderate walk.
