DESCRIPTION:Relive and explore the heritage of North Dean Wood with Calderdale Countryside and Woodlands Service and team of friendly experts!  Experience and learn about traditional charcoal burns from University of Bradford researchers and take the opportunity to join a guided walk with heritage expert Chris Atkinson to unlock the hidden features and history of the area.  Charcoal burn and woodland craft work throughout the day from 10.00.  Guided heritage walk at 13.00.  Limited edition North Dean charcoal for sale in aid of a local charity.  Follow signage from the front of Clay House\, West Vale\, HX4 8AN.  Free event.  No dogs please.  Bring lunch.
